Abstract

Identification of a system arranged by a variable speed drive, an induction motor, and a dynamometer is conducted. The system is considered as a MISO. The system has two inputs i.e. variable speed drive control voltage and load applied and one output that is speed. Input-output data is used to build a model. Multi-level periodic perturbation signal is considered to the inputs. By using system identification toolbox, process model provides good model and it is indicated by fit value. The result shows that by using multi-level periodic perturbation signal, simulation of the model gives close performance to the measured data. © 2009 IEEE.
