Abstract

In this work some of the amino acid-based ionic liquids (EmimGlu, EmimHis, EmimAsp) were synthesized and characterized by NMR, elemental analysis. The thermophysical properties such as density, viscosity were measured in the temperature range qfT= 293.15 to 363.15 K and refractive index in the temperature range ofT= 293.15 to 333.15 K. The thermal expansion coefficient values were calculated from the experimental density values. The thermal degradation behavior was measured by ihermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
