The cracking of ferritic alloy steel SA213 P91 materials has been analysed.Environmental factors such as chloride, pH, temperature and dissolved oxygen content in steam may contribute to the propagation of corrosion and SCC cracks on ferritic alloy steel SA213 P91 materials. The SCC crack propagation on P91 alloy will increase with an increase of high chloride content, low pH value, high steam temperature and low oxygen concentration. The remaining steel life also was increase with an increase of oxygen level in test environment. © 2023, Institute of Technology PETRONAS Sdn Bhd.
