Abstract

MXene as one of the new classes of 2D transition metal carbide and nitrides had drawn the attention of researchers due to its high electrical properties and hydrophilic nature which provides good interaction with polymeric matrix and favour composite material. In this report, a MXene/PVDF composite binder has been synthesized by stoichiometric mixing of PVDF and MXene to produce a composite binder. The MXene/PVDF composite binder was then cast and dried into film. It has been found that the MXene content in the composite binder increase, resistance of film decreases. In future work, this composite binder can be further applied to electrode fabrication and sensor applications. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
