Abstract

Roller Compacted Concrete has been used widely across the world in many Pavements and Dams. Roller Compacted Concrete Pavement (RCCP) has been known for its cost effectivity and mass concreting. Current research deals with the feasibility condition for RCCP using Nano Silica and Natural Fibre. Temperature Tests are conducted at 0, 50 and 100 Celsius on RCCP using various compositions of Nano Silica such as 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2.0, 2.25, 2.50. 2.75 & 3.0 and also Banana Fibre of compositions 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 2.5, 3.0. It has been found that there is a gradual decrease in performance of RCCP for Nano Silica more than 2 . Furthermore, the same has been observed in the case of Banana Fibres where 1.5 is found to be optimum. This result is useful for the further research of RCCP using Nano Silica & Natural Fibre. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
