N2 - Migration of legacy application is performed by many organizations. Benefits of Cloud computing is still hidden from many organizations and they are unaware of working of Open source simulation software(OSSS) on IaaS, as a service. Open source is a different way out where everybody is free to change the code according to needs. The concept behind constructing a Domain Specific Modeling Language for OSSS on IaaS, is to share the source code for modification, improvement and dissemination. It would be out of the world if we envisage the future of cloud computing and open source simulation software, side by side. OSSS having major characteristics of freedom and community-based collaboration, strongly binds OSSS and cloud computing. Less programming, less expertise, new opportunities, strategic tools, cost effective, etc. could be the basic motives for this approach to be popular in future. In this article, we suggest that a DSML of targeted PIM for OSSS based on ADM over IaaS can add to the productivity and applicability of cloud computing. © 2018 IEEE.
