However, traditional ZSI suffers from its own limitations, high capacitor voltage stress and limited boost capacity. This paper proposes a novel topology of modified ZSI using two switched inductor cell with series impedance network configuration in order to overcome the shortcomings of traditional ZSI. In the proposed modified ZSI, low capacitor voltage stress and high voltage boost exhibits simultaneously. The control strategy of the proposed topology will be same as the traditional one, so all existing modulation techniques can be applied. Different operation modes of proposed inverter have been explained. The simulation results are obtained from Matlab/Simulink and verified the accuracy of the contents provided. © 2018 IEEE. publisher: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. date: 2018 type: Conference or Workshop Item type: PeerReviewed identifier: Subhani, N. and Kannan, R. and Romlie, M.F.
