Loss evaluations of the applied materials for both the conductors and the transparent substrate are investigated. After simulation in THz range, the proposed antenna is low frequency scaled to resonate at (0.75 GHz, 1.1 GHz) and (7.5 GHz, 11 GHz) to show its ability of working in THz bands. The scaled antennas are fabricated on the FR4 substrate with the permittivity of 4.3 and thickness of 1.6 mm and then a layer of ITO is added to increase the gain and efficiency. © 2018 IEEE. publisher: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. date: 2018 type: Conference or Workshop Item type: PeerReviewed identifier: Saeidi, T. and Ismail, I. and Wen, W.P. and Alhawari, A.R.H.
