The proposed antenna has a diameter of 20 mm and height of 4.56 mm operating between 2.723-5.032 GHz. The antenna structure consists of a triple slotted square patch with hexagonal shape that is matched to a human head phantom. The SAR analysis shows that the antenna is capable of receiving microwave energy from deep brain and as an enabling component, it is suitable for a wearable brain temperature sensing system. © 2018 IEEE. %D 2018 %R 10.1109/ANTEM.2018.8572904 %O cited By 2; Conference of 18th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics, ANTEM 2018 ; Conference Date: 19 August 2018 Through 22 August 2018; Conference Code:143652 %J Proceedings - ANTEM 2018: 2018 18th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics %L scholars9488
