The proposed antenna has a diameter of 20 mm and height of 4.56 mm operating between 2.723-5.032 GHz. The antenna structure consists of a triple slotted square patch with hexagonal shape that is matched to a human head phantom. The SAR analysis shows that the antenna is capable of receiving microwave energy from deep brain and as an enabling component, it is suitable for a wearable brain temperature sensing system. © 2018 IEEE. publisher: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. date: 2018 type: Conference or Workshop Item type: PeerReviewed identifier: Ullah, H. and Tahir, F.A. and Malik, A.S. and Cheema, H.M.
