The samples were doped with 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0 mass- of Fe 2O 3. The sintered compacts were characterized by measurement of different physico-mechanical properties. XRD analysis was carried out to determine the different phases present in the sintered samples, and SEM analysis was used to assess the distribution of different phases in the microstructure. Measurement of the dielectric properties of the samples was done at different frequencies as well as at different temperatures. It was observed that the dielectric loss, capacitance and resistance increased with the increase in the dopant concentrations. The dielectric loss in the sintered materials was drastically reduced at the 0.5 mass- doping concentration.
