Due to the dynamic nature of SOA the implementation of SOA brings about many challenges, for instance, in terms of service discovery, service interaction, service composition, robustness, quality of service, etc. SOA may often need to dynamically (re)organizing its topologies of interactions between the services because of unpredictable events, such as crashes or network problems which make the services unavailable. The complexity and dynamism of the current global digital network systems required an architecture that is capable of changing its structure and functionality autonomously to meet the dynamic changes in the requirements and environment with little human intervention. In this paper we present the idea of adapting the autonomic computing paradigm into SOA to meet those challenges. {\^A}{\copyright} 2010 IEEE.}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-78650258880&doi=10.1109\%2fDEST.2010.5610655&partnerID=40&md5=8a6c44adb365e688b3f0a7d91915d6ac} }
