These enhanced properties compose rubber nanocomposites striking in different applications such as space industry, agriculture, medical, and packaging. This chapter focuses on diverse aspects of rubber nanocomposites with their filler properties. Nanofillers are introduced into rubber in accumulation to conventional fillers to increase the presentation plus different efficient properties of the rubber matrix depending on the applications. In the recent year, Ionic liquids (ILs) have gained much interest in research and development because of various dominating physical properties and that may be useful solvent for processing rubber for packaging. © Springer International Publishing AG 2018. date: 2017 publisher: Springer International Publishing official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85043672033&doi=10.1007%2f978-3-319-67319-6_12&partnerID=40&md5=ae3fbbadf449e7a93e58d957d49aac37 id_number: 10.1007/978-3-319-67319-6₁₂ full_text_status: none publication: Bionanocomposites for Packaging Applications pagerange: 227-242 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9783319673196; 9783319673189 citation: Gazal, U. and Khan, I. and Usmani, M.A. and Bhat, A.H. and Mohamad, M.K.H.
