A good gas turbine model is essential for simulation study or fault prediction. However, there are no effort on modelling DLE gas turbine currently. Nonlinear Autoregressive with Exogenous Input (NARX), a black-box modelling approach has been identified as the suitable option for modelling gas turbine in DLE mode as it enables the development of good model without any assumptions. The results show that the developed NARX model can be used to represent the behavior of the DLE gas turbine with high accuracy and good generalization. © 2017 IEEE.
