Excess molar volumes {V^{\text{E}}} V E and excess refractive indices n-{\text{D}}^{\text{E}} n D E were calculated from the experimental data. Refractive index values for the binary mixtures were predicted by using Lorentz-Lorenz, Gladstone-Dale and Eykman equations. Excess molar volumes showed positive trend, whereas excess refractive indices showed negative trend over the entire range of temperatures and concentrations studied in the present research. © 2015 Akadémiai Kiadó, Budapest, Hungary. date: 2016 publisher: Springer Netherlands official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84953634946&doi=10.1007%2fs10973-015-4957-6&partnerID=40&md5=4c4ec7ccf77a4495309fd1da45145dc3 id_number: 10.1007/s10973-015-4957-6 full_text_status: none publication: Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry volume: 123 number: 1 pagerange: 785-791 refereed: TRUE issn: 13886150 citation: Akbar, M.M. and Chemat, F. and Arunagiri, A. and Murugesan, T.
