M. oleifera seed extract is effective as prime coagulant and as coagulant aid with alum. Compared with alum (residual filtrate turbidity 2 NTU and residual colour 3 TCU), it produces water with slightly higher residual filtrate turbidity (4 and 3 NTU)' and residual colour (15 and 13 TCU), but the residual turbidity and residual colour are within the WHO drinking water guideline values for turbidity (5 NTU) and colour (15 TCU). date: 2009 publisher: Technoscience Publications official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-78651546455&partnerID=40&md5=be64a667c57cd0474009af840ea27cea full_text_status: none publication: Nature Environment and Pollution Technology volume: 8 number: 1 pagerange: 137-139 refereed: TRUE issn: 09726268 citation: Chaudhuri, M. and Khairuldin, P.S.A.B.
