Over 90 decolourisation occurred in 90-120 min for dye concentrations of 20, 50 and 100 mg/L, indicating the effectiveness of ferrioxalate complexes in decolourisation of even strongly coloured solutions. The study has demonstrated that modified photo-Fenton process is an effective process for decolourisation of reactive dyes. The process is useful for treatment of dyehouse waste in tropical and equatorial regions where sunlight is abundant. date: 2009 publisher: Technoscience Publications official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-78651569565&partnerID=40&md5=705b8da430db7b775926a3e12716aa70 full_text_status: none publication: Nature Environment and Pollution Technology volume: 8 number: 2 pagerange: 359-363 refereed: TRUE issn: 09726268 citation: Chaudhuri, M. and Wei, T.Y.
