The concentrations of LLDPE polymer in the blends were 4, 5 and 6 by weight of bitumen. Conventional test which includes penetration, softening point, ductility, temperature susceptibility tests were conducted using the control 80/100 and LLDPE modified binders. Also storage stability test were conducted to access the stability of the control and LLDPE modified binder. The results indicate that 6 LLDPE modified binder offers the best results compared to control, 4 and 5 LLDPE modified binders when they were investigated in terms of conventional properties. Storage stability test result shows that phase separation might occur in all the polymer modified binders during storage or transportation especially at higher temperatures. © 2016 Taylor & Francis Group, London. date: 2016 publisher: CRC Press/Balkema official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85009724391&doi=10.1201%2fb21942-80&partnerID=40&md5=710e791154c5838ba0b14e6533f12729 id_number: 10.1201/b21942-80 full_text_status: none publication: Engineering Challenges for Sustainable Future - Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Civil, offshore and Environmental Engineering, ICCOEE 2016 pagerange: 395-400 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781138029781 citation: Bala, N. and Kamaruddin, I.
