TY - CONF N2 - Construction industry is an intricate industry with multi stakeholders in a dynamic environment, which make coordination critical in project success. The aim of this paper is to study coordination attributes in construction projects. Literature review led to identify 29 attributes, which had classified into four groups. A survey was conducted by filling 184 questionnaire. RII and factor analysis was applied to rank and categorize the attributes into clusters. The rank of groups results were; education and gained skills (83.01), technical (82.26), personal, (79.50) and integrity (67.07). The most important attributes results were; Liaison skill, with being attractive and using all contact approach and communication professionally, RII 92.46. Then, has a sharp charisma and independence in his decision, RII 90.40. There is a need for assigning coordinator for each construction project and provide him with communications and transportation facilities, to increase the success probability. © 2016 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
