"Technology advances in concrete industry and increasing demand for high strength construction materials have led to the development of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC). Conventional UHPC preparation method requires high cement consumption, high material cost and sophisticated technical procedures that makes it unsustainable and too costly to meet the demand of large-scale constructions. This paper addresses the development of UHPC incorporating high volume of fly ash (FA) of up to 50 as cement replacement material and the use of coarse aggregates in order to reduce the economical and environmental disadvantages of current UHPC. Influence of binder content, water to binder ratio and FA on workability and compressive strength of concrete were investigated. The test results showed that low cement UHPC of 450 kg/m3 with compressive strength of about 160MPa at 90 days could be prepared successfully with incorporation of both high volume of FA and coarse aggregates. © 2016 Taylor & Francis Group, London."^^ .
