The TGA and FTIR confirmed the formation of metalloporphyrin (MeP) structures inside the pores of zeolite A, and the UV-Vis study revealed that the band gap decreased and therefore increased the solar light utilization capability of the zeolite encapsulated MeP. Reaction kinetics for the degradation of Orange II showed first order behaviour till first 80 minutes then favoured a second order kinetics after wards with 35 dye removal at the neutral pH and room temperature conditions. © 2016 The Authors. date: 2016 publisher: Elsevier Ltd official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85013121123&doi=10.1016%2fj.proeng.2016.06.544&partnerID=40&md5=0ae58399c845872884972393d1f30505 id_number: 10.1016/j.proeng.2016.06.544 full_text_status: none publication: Procedia Engineering volume: 148 pagerange: 1282-1288 refereed: TRUE issn: 18777058 citation: Nadeem, S. and Mutalib, I.A. and Shahrun, M.S.
