It is shown that the hybrid filtering function is formed by the product of lowpass and highpass elliptic filtering functions. By scaling the highpass cut-off frequency, the inner passband of HDBBS can be adjusted to achieve any desired narrow band. Microstrip prototype is designed and fabricated to prove the concept. The simulated and measured results show a good agreement. © 2016 EuMA. date: 2016 publisher: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85014749137&doi=10.1109%2fEuMC.2016.7824293&partnerID=40&md5=438b9cac55ca4807a02bbc06c562710b id_number: 10.1109/EuMC.2016.7824293 full_text_status: none publication: European Microwave Week 2016: "Microwaves Everywhere", EuMW 2016 - Conference Proceedings; 46th European Microwave Conference, EuMC 2016 pagerange: 124-127 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9782874870439 citation: Socheatra, S. and Wen, W.P. and Sovuthy, C.
