From satisfactory agreement with results from literature, numerous boundary conditions are explored for various aspect ratios in the buckling analysis. High dependencies of post-buckling patterns on plate aspect ratios are observed, from which a computationally time-saving characteristic equations have been defined before the occurrence of post-buckling state for practical convenience, best described on the basis of logarithmic critical buckling load and stiffness factor. These buckling characteristics have a direct general correlation to TWF's aspect ratios and boundary rigidities. © 2016 The Author(s). date: 2016 publisher: SAGE Publications Ltd official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84978997437&doi=10.1177%2f0021998315612538&partnerID=40&md5=e8690a57c41a2506915aa2024800c761 id_number: 10.1177/0021998315612538 full_text_status: none publication: Journal of Composite Materials volume: 50 number: 19 pagerange: 2719-2735 refereed: TRUE issn: 00219983 citation: Rasin, N. and Kueh, A.B.H. and Mahat, M.N.H. and Yassin, A.Y.M.
