Hence, this paper discusses the outcome of experimental work to quantify the colour of reactive dyes on woven fabrics. This involved the application of a spectrophotometer to carry out the measurement of colour in accordance with the experimental procedures outlined by the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), and the calculations to convert the results into several colour spaces according to the International Standard Organisation (ISO)/CIE (Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage) standards. {\^A}{\copyright} 2009 IEEE.}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-70449092391&doi=10.1109\%2fCITISIA.2009.5224182&partnerID=40&md5=947b3d6cdf29aaa11eb605cba8f87fed}, isbn = {9781424428878}, author = {Elamvazuthi, I. and Vasant, P. and Ahmad, A. and Aftab, M.
