The annealing temperature was fixed at 600°C. The impact of pH on the particle size was investigated. Based on the results from the Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), three different pH for the precursor which is 3.0, 5.0 and 1.01 were chosen followed by the characterization of the ZnO nanoparticle by using Powder X-Ray Diffraction (PXRD), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM). Results showed that the crystallite size estimated from PXRD increased with the pH value which was hexagonal structure for ZnO. TEM further revealed the same tendency which the Zn NPs size also increased with the alkalinity of the precursor. © 2016 Author(s). date: 2016 publisher: American Institute of Physics Inc. official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85006022178&doi=10.1063%2f1.4968109&partnerID=40&md5=b0cf5d18ff04e898be0a4252d4d5251b id_number: 10.1063/1.4968109 full_text_status: none publication: AIP Conference Proceedings volume: 1787 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9780735414518 issn: 0094243X citation: Lee, K. and Guan, B.H. and Zaid, H.M. and Soleimani, H. and Ching, D.L.C.
