More specifically, the pilot findings reveal that Green IS related activities among manufacturing firms in Malaysia are present, but measuring the extent of overall effectiveness of Green IS practices is not being carried out adequately. The data collection instrument used for the pilot study was distributed to the management team of 50 organizations and only 32 responses were received. With a response rate of 64 for the pilot study, the results of the preliminary analysis indicates that manufacturing organizations in Malaysia are practicing green in Malaysia, but have yet to track and audit the exact energy efficiency level. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015. date: 2015 publisher: Springer Verlag official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84915750445&doi=10.1007%2f978-3-319-07674-4_83&partnerID=40&md5=64e00f2eec75ac267c430eec332db3c1 id_number: 10.1007/978-3-319-07674-4₈₃ full_text_status: none publication: Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering volume: 315 pagerange: 883-894 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9783319076737 issn: 18761100 citation: Savita, K.S. and Dominic, P.D.D. and Ratnam, K.A.
