However, designing an antenna to propagate strong electromagnetic (EM) wave remains a challenge. This paper discussed the design and optimization of antenna types namely dipole, triangle, rectangle and hexagon with various materials and length. Simulation using Applied Wave Research (AWR) Design Environment Evaluation shows the radiation pattern of antenna and phase (0 - 360 degree) was carried out. The highest power of antenna obtained via simulation is 2.835 W which was for hexagon. Aluminum rods (100mm diameter) and copper wire (0.8mm diameter) with different length of 20cm, 40cm and 60cm were used to investigate patterns of voltage peak-to-peak (Vp-p) at the detector. It was found that the copper wire gave that a higher Vp-p. Nickel Zinc Ferrite has been successfully synthesized by self combustion technique. X-Ray Diffraction of the nickel zinc ferrites demonstrated that it can be used as a magnetic feeder for the transmitter. © 2009 American Institute of Physics. date: 2009 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-70450238072&doi=10.1063%2f1.3160174&partnerID=40&md5=4eddeab3937050f80ce8e3bd3df31d18 id_number: 10.1063/1.3160174 full_text_status: none publication: AIP Conference Proceedings volume: 1136 place_of_pub: Selangor pagerange: 406-413 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9780735406735 issn: 0094243X citation: Ahmad, N.A. and Yahya, N. and Zakariah, M.H. and Puspitasari, P.
