%X MobileSchool system has been developed for the use of school administrators, teachers, students and parents of secondary schools in Malaysia. The system is a learning management systems (LMS) that allows users to conduct teaching, learning and administrative activities via mobile devices especially smartphones and tablets. This paper presents a study on usability of the system in evaluation phase of MobileSchool system development. During the evaluation phase, a usability test had been conducted to ensure the production of convincing outputs on the quality of the system. The test which applied role-based questionnaire method was conducted in User Experience (UX) Lab MIMOS Ltd. involving forty particpants (10 school administrators, 10 teachers, 10 students and 10 parents). This test involved the use of a web-based user experience test management system called Ultimate Reliable and Native Usability System (URANUS) version 2.3. The result showed that MobileSchool system has passed the usability requirements. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015. %K Efficiency; Information science; Mobile devices; Quality control; Surveys; Teaching; Usability engineering, Effectiveness; Learning management system; Satisfaction; Secondary schools; Usability, Education %L scholars6185 %J Lecture Notes in Computer Science (including subseries Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence and Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics) %O cited By 1; Conference of 4th International Visual Informatics Conference, IVIC 2015 ; Conference Date: 17 November 2015 Through 19 November 2015; Conference Code:154289 %R 10.1007/978-3-319-25939-0₃₅ %D 2015 %I Springer Verlag %V 9429 %A A.S.
