The Gossip protocol provides a better approach with less retransmissions for the routing of data from sensors to the base station. In this paper we propose an implementation of the Gossip protocol on TinyOS. We produce simulation results for the protocol. We also do formal verification of the Gossip protocol for WSNs. In this way hidden vulnerabilities in the protocol are exposed. © 2015 IEEE. date: 2015 publisher: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84926352893&doi=10.1109%2fIBCAST.2015.7058511&partnerID=40&md5=518ff07ed26669970e279641997691e8 id_number: 10.1109/IBCAST.2015.7058511 full_text_status: none publication: Proceedings of 2015 12th International Bhurban Conference on Applied Sciences and Technology, IBCAST 2015 pagerange: 240-247 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781479963690 citation: Yasin, D. and Saghar, K. and Younis, S.
