N2  - This paper proposed new rational cubic spline with GC1 continuity for data interpolation. It has cubic numerator and rational as denominator with two parameters that can be used to refine the final shape of the interpolating curves. Data dependent constraints are derived on one shape parameter, ri while the second parameter ei is a free parameter that can be changed to obtain different forms of interpolation curve. Numerical results are given to test the applicability of the proposed scheme. © 2014 Samsul Ariffin Abdul Karim.
