Kapok fibres have the potential to become a roof insulation material because of its low thermal conductivity. This paper reviews studies on kapok fibre as insulation material. It is revealed that there were no reported findings on the application of kapok fibre as roof insulation.Thorough study is highly recommended in this area since kapok fibre has good thermal and acoustic properties. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. date: 2014 publisher: Trans Tech Publications Ltd official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84903524183&doi=10.4028%2fwww.scientific.net%2fAMM.567.482&partnerID=40&md5=92a05b60f6b991965ed78d37eb351bd0 id_number: 10.4028/www.scientific.net/AMM.567.482 full_text_status: none publication: Applied Mechanics and Materials volume: 567 pagerange: 482-487 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9783038351238 issn: 16609336 citation: Nuruddin, M.F. and Puad, N.H.A. and Azizli, K.A.M. and Farhan, S.A. and Zainal, A.
