Approximately 3.8 wt Pd was successfully incorporated into SBA-15 at pH 10.3. Formation of SBA-15 and Pd/SBA-15 were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), Thermogravimetry with Simultaneous Difference Thermal Spectroscopy coupled with mass spectrometer (TG/SDTA-MS), Thermogravimetry in combination with Simultaneous Difference Thermal Spectroscopy (TG-SDTA), Inductive Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) and N2 adsorption-desorption. Reduction of surface area and pore volume of support for Pd/SBA-15 samples may indicate the encapsulation of PdO particles within mesoporous channels of SBA-15. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. date: 2014 publisher: Trans Tech Publications Ltd official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84904068481&doi=10.4028%2fwww.scientific.net%2fAMR.917.10&partnerID=40&md5=e834aa370140ff72febcbf4dd3fbe68f id_number: 10.4028/www.scientific.net/AMR.917.10 full_text_status: none publication: Advanced Materials Research volume: 917 place_of_pub: Kuala Lumpur pagerange: 10-17 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9783038350521 issn: 10226680 citation: Lee, S.-P. and Ramli, A. and Kutty, M.G. and Hamid, S.B.A. (2014) Incorporation of Pd nanoparticles on rod and necklace-like SBA-15 supports materials.
