These can only be quantified using intelligent computational techniques such as evolutionary computation and fuzzy logic. The main objective of this research paper is to solve non linear fuzzy optimization problem where the technological coefficient in the constraints involved are fuzzy numbers which was represented by logistic membership functions by using hybrid evolutionary optimization approach. To explore the applicability of the present study a numerical example is considered to determine the production planning for the decision variables and profit of the company. © American Institute of Physics. date: 2008 publisher: American Institute of Physics Inc. official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-55549106829&doi=10.1063%2f1.3008681&partnerID=40&md5=e6854b6bde181f546665f612a1a315f7 id_number: 10.1063/1.3008681 full_text_status: none publication: AIP Conference Proceedings volume: 1052 place_of_pub: Chiang Mai pagerange: 278-283 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9780735405813 issn: 0094243X citation: Vasant, P. and Barsoum, N.
