A detailed de-acidification study at different temperatures and different ionic liquid/model oil was performed and the content of naphthenic acid before and after extraction was calculated. The ILs containing hydroxide anions has the potential to completely deacidify model oil having high TAN with extremely low ionic liquid /oil ratio. © 2014 Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. date: 2014 publisher: Trans Tech Publications Ltd official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84914103857&doi=10.4028%2fwww.scientific.net%2fAMM.625.570&partnerID=40&md5=3fce40e10792bf1092891aa2c0d6737b id_number: 10.4028/www.scientific.net/AMM.625.570 full_text_status: none publication: Applied Mechanics and Materials volume: 625 pagerange: 570-573 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9783038351818 issn: 16609336 citation: Shah, S.N. and Mutalib, M.I.A. and Pilus, R.B.M. and Lethesh, K.C.
