A. and Gonfa, G.}, abstract = {Isothermal Vapour-liquid equilibrium for cyclohexane (1) + benzene (2) binary system, cyclohexane (1) + benzene (2) dimethylformamide (3) ternary system and cyclohexane (1) + benzene (2) dimethylformamide (3) + cosolvent (4) quaternary systems were obtained. The effects of cosolvents (diethyl glycol, dimethylsulfoxide, N-methylformamide) on the performance of dimethylformamide in benzene-cyclohexane separation were studied. The result shows the selected cosolvents suppress the effectiveness of dimethylformamide. The result also shows that the ratio of cosolvents to dimethylformamide affects the separation factor. {\^A}{\copyright} 2014 Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.}, keywords = {Benzene; Cyclohexane; Dimethylformamide; Distillation; Liquids; Separation, Binary systems; Cosolvents; Extractive distillation; Mixed solvent; N-methylformamide; Quaternary systems; Separation factors; Vapour liquid equilibria, Benzene refining}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84914148228&doi=10.4028\%2fwww.scientific.net\%2fAMM.625.578&partnerID=40&md5=e721faf3ab73a87807e99ba7510f7252} }
