Processes in which open-loop tests are not permitted, closed-loop identification of subsystems interactions is crucial. An approach that combines the direct and indirect methods of closed-loop identification is proposed in this paper. It is shown that full dynamics of MIMO systems can be determined following a two-steps identification procedure. A representative case study is used to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed approach. © 2014 Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. date: 2014 publisher: Trans Tech Publications Ltd official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84914159580&doi=10.4028%2fwww.scientific.net%2fAMM.625.414&partnerID=40&md5=37a19b0ac77e24ee9e67dae72501f6a7 id_number: 10.4028/www.scientific.net/AMM.625.414 full_text_status: none publication: Applied Mechanics and Materials volume: 625 pagerange: 414-417 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9783038351818 issn: 16609336 citation: Faisal, A. and Ramasamy, M. and Shuhaimi, M. and Rahim, M.
