Processes in which open-loop tests are not permitted, closed-loop identification of subsystems interactions is crucial. An approach that combines the direct and indirect methods of closed-loop identification is proposed in this paper. It is shown that full dynamics of MIMO systems can be determined following a two-steps identification procedure. A representative case study is used to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed approach. © 2014 Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. %K Identification (control systems); Multiplexing equipment, Closed loop identification; Closed loops; Decentralized models; Direct and indirect methods; Identification procedure; Multi input multi output systems; Representative case; Subsystem interaction, MIMO systems %L scholars4713 %J Applied Mechanics and Materials %O cited By 0; Conference of 3rd International Conference on Process Engineering and Advanced Materials, ICPEAM 2014 ; Conference Date: 3 June 2014 Through 5 June 2014; Conference Code:114811 %R 10.4028/www.scientific.net/AMM.625.414 %D 2014
