The resulting ferrites were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Single phased Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 was obtained at all calcination temperatures.FESEM Micrographs reveals an increase in the grain size with the increase of the calcination temperature. Consequently, the magnetic saturation of the samples were found to increase with each increase in the calcinations temperature where the highest value obtained is 70.58 emu/g for the samples calcined at 1000°C. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. date: 2014 publisher: Trans Tech Publications Ltd official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84921631526&doi=10.4028%2fwww.scientific.net%2fAMM.664.75&partnerID=40&md5=2b29bc097dea1f009ccba272c35afa98 id_number: 10.4028/www.scientific.net/AMM.664.75 full_text_status: none publication: Applied Mechanics and Materials volume: 664 pagerange: 75-79 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9783038352921; 9783038352921 issn: 16609336 citation: Guan, B.H. and Zahari, M.H. and Chuan, L.K.
