Model transformation requires the development of transformation rules. Design of the transformation rules will allow the rules to be understood by people without the need to know the language to write the rules. This paper proposes a notation for designing the transformation rules. The abstract syntax, concrete syntax, semantics and well-formedness of the proposed notation are explained here. Examples and experience in using the notation are also given. © 2008 IEEE. date: 2008 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-50249130170&doi=10.1109%2fASWEC.2008.4483249&partnerID=40&md5=874fa1bcffffd7b0edc32c7df24f7e5f id_number: 10.1109/ASWEC.2008.4483249 full_text_status: none publication: Proceedings of the Australian Software Engineering Conference, ASWEC place_of_pub: Perth, WA pagerange: 589-598 refereed: TRUE isbn: 0769531008; 9780769531007 citation: Rahim, L.A. and Mansoor, S.B.R.S.
