The present ILs show lower densities, higher viscosities, and comparable values of refractive index compared to those of analogous nitrile-functionalized ILs with different anions. The thermal expansion coefficient, compressibility coefficient, and molar refraction were calculated from the experimental values of density and refractive index. These ILs show a weak temperature dependency of the thermal expansion coefficient. © 2014 American Chemical Society. date: 2014 publisher: American Chemical Society official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84898474269&doi=10.1021%2fje400849a&partnerID=40&md5=ef1e63d961b50e403048fb42d0d32da4 id_number: 10.1021/je400849a full_text_status: none publication: Journal of Chemical and Engineering Data volume: 59 number: 4 pagerange: 1232-1239 refereed: TRUE issn: 00219568 citation: Ziyada, A.K. and Wilfred, C.D.
