However, the choosing between various techniques may be confusing and puzzling. Therefore, this paper aims to present an empirical study to assess requirement analysis techniques, highlight their key features, strength and limitations. The empirical study results show a high competitiveness between requirement engineering techniques and slight score differences among them. Statistics shows that Interview technique is the uppermost obtained score among all techniques, followed by JAD and Brainstorming technique. © 2014 IEEE. date: 2014 publisher: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84938766885&doi=10.1109%2fICCOINS.2014.6868446&partnerID=40&md5=8c8e06b1de954fd0a84b08cd5c5c6dc8 id_number: 10.1109/ICCOINS.2014.6868446 full_text_status: none publication: 2014 International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences, ICCOINS 2014 - A Conference of World Engineering, Science and Technology Congress, ESTCON 2014 - Proceedings refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781479943913 citation: Besrour, S. and Rahim, L.B.A. and Dominic, P.D.D.
