The rational quartic splines have GC1 continuity at join knots. Simple data dependent constraints are derived on the shape parameters in the description of the rational interpolant. Numerical comparison between the proposed scheme and the existing scheme is discussed. The results indicate that the proposed scheme works well for all tested data sets. © 2013 AIP Publishing LLC. date: 2013 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84876893378&doi=10.1063%2f1.4801170&partnerID=40&md5=2a82e81f4edd02ef87ec82c0359a7daf id_number: 10.1063/1.4801170 full_text_status: none publication: AIP Conference Proceedings volume: 1522 place_of_pub: Putrajaya pagerange: 518-525 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9780735411500 issn: 0094243X citation: Abdul Karim, S.A. and Pang, K.V. and Hashim, I.
