This paper proposes a model of Grid resource discovery that is based on classifying the Grid nodes according to some resource criteria. Each group has a leader (Head) that collects the information of the group members (nodes). The paper also proposes a resource discovery algorithm that optimizes resource query on the Grid network. Discussion shows how this model can satisfy the Grid resource discovery features such as: Decentralization, scalability, dynamism. date: 2008 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84883071461&partnerID=40&md5=aafaefc0ef411cf2064653e375a0e603 full_text_status: none publication: NetApps 2008 - International Conference on Network Applications, Protocols and Services 2008 place_of_pub: Sintok refereed: TRUE isbn: 9789832078333 citation: Hassan, M.I. and Abdulah, A.
