The system consists of a wave energy conversion device, a DC-DC boost converter and a DC-AC inverter connected to a load. The controller for the inverter is designed to regulate the output current and to minimize the THD. The Hysteresis Current Controller (HCC) is adopted to generate the switching pulses of the DC-AC inverter with fixed-band hysteresis controller in an instantaneous feedback loop. The simulation result without LC Filter and HCC, with LC Filter and without HCC, and with LC Filter and HCC have been reported. The result implies the viability of the technique to provide low output current ripples and lower THD. © 2013 IEEE.
