This phase takes a big part of total evacuation time, but by simplifying this process has made some computer simulation are far away from reality. A cognitive behavior model as a representation of the occupant responses and actions against emergency notification has built in our computer simulation. A survey in order to get some responses and experiences upon emergency situation has form the probability value of specified actions according to cognitive behavior model. To improve the evacuation planning, some evaluations of wasting time consumption and generous actions during evacuation have provided. © 2008 IEEE. date: 2008 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-57349089354&doi=10.1109%2fITSIM.2008.4631675&partnerID=40&md5=3702cd071aab1b9b446b0f59d10d1399 id_number: 10.1109/ITSIM.2008.4631675 full_text_status: none publication: Proceedings - International Symposium on Information Technology 2008, ITSim volume: 2 place_of_pub: Kuala Lumpur refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781424423286 citation: Rahman, A. and Mahmood, A.K.
