COSMO-RS showed quinolinium-based ILs as one of the potential ILs for hydrocarbon desulfurization. In real experiment, 1-butyl-6-methylquinolinium thiocyanate and 1-butyl-6-methylquinoliniumdicyanamide were synthesized and have shown to have the highest desulfurization efficiency in model oil among the ILs investigated. {\^A}{\copyright} 2013 Elsevier Ltd.}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84883665781&doi=10.1016\%2fj.ces.2013.08.032&partnerID=40&md5=e4b97df89e0b05366b5c3c5c512a59df}, keywords = {Experiments; Extraction; Ionic liquids, COSMO-RS; Desulfurization efficiency; Dibenzothiophenes; Ionic liquid (ils); N-dodecane; Partition coefficient; Predicting method; Quinolinium, Desulfurization} }
