The paper also examines the self-efficacy level of trainees based on their years of study, working experience and grades in English language subjects. Self-efficacy beliefs are formed through the interpretation of performance outcomes which are based on four primary sources of information namely, mastery experience, vicarious experience, social persuasion and physiological reaction. This paper will also discuss on the pedagogical implications of the findings and give recommendations on ways to enhance trainees' self-efficacy level in oral communication ability in English based on these primary sources. © 2013 IEEE. date: 2013 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84892663303&doi=10.1109%2fTALE.2013.6654548&partnerID=40&md5=37041c2d8d173658049e8823acd5b5cf id_number: 10.1109/TALE.2013.6654548 full_text_status: none publication: Proceedings of 2013 IEEE International Conference on Teaching, Assessment and Learning for Engineering, TALE 2013 place_of_pub: Kuta pagerange: 800-804 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781467363556 citation: Idrus, H. and Salleh, R. and Wan Hassan, W.N. and Ali, R.M.M.
