This work aims to develop a method on how to engineer software systems which have similar high stability and efficiency often found in biological systems (in terms of handling abnormal conditions of such systems). After analyzing one of the biological self-healing systems (the wound healing), we mapped its processes into software system architecture. The architecture can handle single-fault of the system's components as well as concurrent-faults. © 2008 IEEE. date: 2008 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-57349112415&doi=10.1109%2fITSIM.2008.4631889&partnerID=40&md5=02282b9090ba5c00e2c114f97fe8536b id_number: 10.1109/ITSIM.2008.4631889 full_text_status: none publication: Proceedings - International Symposium on Information Technology 2008, ITSim volume: 3 place_of_pub: Kuala Lumpur refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781424423286 citation: Elhadi, M. and Abdullah, A.
