AR technology enhances real world interaction by adding the virtual information which could not be seen in the real world with real time interaction. Survey and experimental study were used to collect the data. The result of the study showed that students are still facing problem in learning about electricity. They identified electricity as complex topic to understand and visualize. The survey results also revealed that most student prefer group to individual learning when performing experiment. User feedbacks from participant suggested the potential of AR technology to support learning due to its ability to grabs students' attention and create joyful learning. © 2012 IEEE. date: 2012 publisher: IEEE Computer Society official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84899105922&doi=10.1109%2fICEED.2012.6779271&partnerID=40&md5=2e8ef239a79c03de7e2f005bf889e7fb id_number: 10.1109/ICEED.2012.6779271 full_text_status: none publication: ICEED 2012 - 2012 4th International Congress on Engineering Education - Improving Engineering Education: Towards Sustainable Development place_of_pub: Penang pagerange: 64-68 refereed: TRUE isbn: 9781467348683 citation: Matcha, W. and Awang Rambli, D.R.
