Their thermophysical properties such as viscosity and density were measured for a temperature range of (293.15 to 353.15) K at atmospheric pressure, and their refractive indices were measured in the range of (293.15 to 333.15) K. The effect of functionalized side chains on their thermophysical properties was studied. The thermal expansion coefficient values were calculated using experimental density values. Thermal behavior of these ionic liquids was investigated using a thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). © 2012 American Chemical Society. date: 2012 official_url: https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84858142475&doi=10.1021%2fje200710t&partnerID=40&md5=e2961ae6f9856fd8b35a177aec8998f7 id_number: 10.1021/je200710t full_text_status: none publication: Journal of Chemical and Engineering Data volume: 57 number: 3 pagerange: 737-743 refereed: TRUE issn: 00219568 citation: Muhammad, N. and Man, Z. and Ziyada, A.K. and Bustam, M.A. and Mutalib, M.I.A. and Wilfred, C.D. and Rafiq, S. and Tan, I.M.
